Canadian Baptists of Western Canada

About: The Canadian Baptists of Western Canada (CBWC) aligns itself with three core values and principles: relationships, leadership, and mission. Some of the ways that CBWC supports local congregations and communities is through ministries, social needs, training leaders, as well as administrative and financial support. The CBWC believes in the proclamation of God and His word through the entirety of the Bible and applying that to practical living.

Environmental Activities:

  • The Good Soil campaign provides grassroots public education about food security, supports advocacy through letter writing and petitions, and engages congregations to reflect on food justice, consumption, production and creation care.
  • The Canadian Baptists of Western Canada signed the interfaith statement: On Promoting Climate Justice and Ending Poverty in Canada: Faith Communities in Canada Speak Out (2015).
